Navin Sambtani is a seasoned special situations investment professional with 16 years of investing experience in the asset class across 3 cycles (19 years overall experience). Currently he is a Managing Director in the special situations fund at Edelweiss and has been leading investments at Edelweiss since 2017 from their second series $1.2bn fund and third series $750mn fund where Edelweiss recently announced a first close.

Prior to that, Navin built his distressed assets investing experience at ADM Capital, the first special situations fund to invest in India, where he was heading the firm’s India business since 2015. He was an integral part of ADM Capital since 2007 in an end-to-end fund management role spanning diverse responsibilities across investment cycle of the fund.

Navin is an MBA (Finance) from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and did his under graduation in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
