Mr Mahesh Babu has 30 Years of industry leadership in the Public Private space. Pioneer in sustainable waste management and creating virtuous circular economy models since the last 20 years. Mr Babu has setup India’s pioneering large scale Construction & Demolition waste processing facility in Delhi and has also built India’s first Euro Norm Compliant Waste to Energy Plant.  He also played a leading role in mainstreaming carbon finance and the informal sector in waste management. Mr. Babu has proactively contributed to industry policy, implemented over 30 waste management projects, built lasting relationships with regulators and businesses and followed highest governance standards.  Mr. Babu was Chairman, Waste Association, and Head, FICCI Environment and CII Waste to Worth Group. Mr. Babu has a Masters in International Relations, Johns Hopkins, USA and a post-graduate Management degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
