Chirantan joined British International Investment in 2015. Chirantan is part of the Technology and Telecoms Equity team where he leads on BII’s Venture Capital investing strategy, which focuses on driving innovation and entrepreneurship across South Asia and Africa. He is responsible for investing and managing a diversified portfolio of early-stage funds and co-investments and is our representative on various advisory boards.
Chirantan started his career in India with ABN AMRO’s M&A team and later joined Babcock & Brown’s Asian Infrastructure Fund team evaluating investments in the renewables and transportation sector. He was also part of a small team to have advised the Ministry of Civil Aviation on economic and regulatory aspects of airports in India.
Chirantan holds an MBA from London Business School and a Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Law from Government Law College, Mumbai.
